#1MARK'S CUSTOM CARPET Carl Dimengo Mgr, Gary Carpenter, Keith Miller, Bill Burkins, Don Welfley, Jack Bourn, Bob Bell, Al Manzella, Adrian Achtermann, Homer Gibson, Tony Reppl, Fred Rose and Ed Kowalski .

MISS SILVER SAYS; Mark's Custom Carpet COVERS all the needs. A lot of experience on this squad, including two of the League's most experienced players 85-yr old Charter member  Fred Rose and Charter member Bill Burkins. Miss Silver definitely likes the look of the MCC infield and expects the team to SWEEP a lot of wins under the carpet this year

#2PENINSULA PYTHONSCarl Witt, Mgr; Roger Thresher, Richard Pantalone, John Mitchell, Don Buckle, Jim Kreiger, Bill Smith, Don Mallory, Ed Shue, Stan Tatko, Jack Mercer, John Krochka, George Adolphson and Robert Tipton.

MISS SILVER SAYS:This team will be in every game and just when you think you have them beat, they will slither out of the grass, grab you and squeeze a victory from you. MISS SILVER also warns the third base coaches on the opposing team should bring ear plugs because JOHN MITCHELL is the PYTHON's third baseman. A well balanced team which should do well.

#3BILL DAUCH CONCRETERalph Branca, Mgr; Chick Maierhofer, Bill Markley, George Thayer, Bill Dauch, Dave Mitcheltree, Tony Vivino, Gene Stanik, Al Barracato, Ray Crawford, Robert Bell, Ross McDowell, Robert Pfenning, Frank Solinski and Jack Charles.

MISS SILVER SAYS: I always wondered what happened to RALPH BRANCA after the third game of the 1951 DODGERS-GIANTS play-off game. BILL DAUCH CONCRETE should bury the competition and do well as long as they don't let Silver League charter member BRANCA pitch any important games. To me this team looks like the best team and the title should be their's to lose. You certainly don't want to get them mad, remember what a cement mixer did to JIMMY HOFFA.

#4CYPRESS COLTS Dan Hayes, Mgr; Vince DiDato, Sam Bagnola, George Reese, Jerry Ickes, Bill Hess, Dom Bagnola, Don Smith, Jim Czaszar, Bill Fenchel, Bill Heflin, Frank Ronca, Warren Bertram and Ross Grimes.

MISS SILVER SAYS: I am sure ABNER DOUBLEDAY played on the first CYPRESS COLTS team, this sponsor (along with the Peninsula Pythons-21 yrs and Carpet Gallery -21 yrs) have been around a long time (20 yrs). The only problem is looking at the roster I see more "Old Gray Mares" then "Cypress Colts". The team is led by ABNER DOUBLEDAY's former teammates Silver League charter members FRANK SOLINSKI, the Blue Division pitching ace, first baseman Don Smith  and  manager Dan Hayes. A lot of All Star talent on this squad and if the CONCRETE boys get heavy legs and slow down, the COLTS will nip them at the wire by a nose but I'm not saying whose nose it is..you'll have to guess.

#5ANGIE'S ITALIAN RESTAURANTBob Smith, Mgr; Jim Clark, Al Kline, George Hough, Jim Angelo, Mike Guy, Del Winkleman, Tom Daugherty, Jim Misanko, Richard Kreider, Ed Rogers, Norb Kruszewski and Jim Holmgren.

MISS SILVER SAYS: I must confess this team tried to bribe me by taking me to dinner at ANGIE'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT, the only problem was when it was time to pay the bill both AL KLINE and DEL WINKLEMAN skipped out and left me to pay the bill myself, so there won't be any atta-boys for this team from me. I will say checking all the different personalities on ANGIES, it should be an interesting and fun time for everyone. There is also quite a bit of a talent and experience, including Charter member Richard Kreider. It will be up to Manager Bob Smith to mold this squad into a serious title threat, if not, better order extra cheese on your pizza's because it will be a long season.

#6REVERSE MORTGAGETom Powers,Mgr; Bill Zavarello, Ed Simon, John Firestone, Tom Greene, Dave Wheeland, Russ Russell, Dick Seiple, Bill Israel, Joe May, John Wellock, Chuck Wilhelm, Lyle Pohly and Walt Featheringham.

MISS SILVER SAYS: One of my favorite players is on this team, I always had a special feeling for DAVE WHEELAND since he pinched me under the bleachers at FIELD #@ last year.Team is led by the League's oldest senior, charter member Lyle Pohly. Also has a few Travel Ball players on the roster and will no doubt be the fastest team in the Blue Division, no danger of going in REVERSE here. REVERSE MORTGAGE is a definite threat to win it all but it will depend on how the INTEREST RATES with the effort that is needed.

#7C&S MAGNETIC Tom Cross, Mgr; Tom Vild, Jacob Desalvo, Jim Pearcy, Jim Randall, John Johnston, Jack Sommerlad, Phil DeLong, Dale Blaine, John Linnen, Roman Wankum, Frank Eisemon, Robert Erbse and Chuck Ondack.

MISS SILVER SAYS: Led by the Blue Division's answer to former Cleveland first baseman VIC POWER, C&S MAGNETIC will be the League's top defensive team. DALE BLAINE has vowed to show the BLUE DIVISION how a defensive first baseman plays and along with fellow infielders JIM PEARCY, TOM VILD, JOHN JOHNSTON and PHIL DELONG, they should eat up most of the ground balls. The squad also has the experience of Charter member Frank Eisemon on the roster. Team looks a little light offensively but if they can hold the opposition down with their MAGNETIC gloves, they could surprise.
